I've finally published my first gem! This will provide an easy way to add advanced search functionality to your applications. It takes a string of words, splits them up, and checks each of the columns in your rails model for those terms.
For example, if I'm looking for a user with the name Jeremy in Wisconsin, and there are 10 users with that first name but only one in wisconsin, I could type in
jeremy wi into the search box to find the one I'm looking for. It does a partial search so you don't even need to fully type out wisconsin.
Check it out! It's still early in development, but I'm already using it in a couple of my applications!

As part of a larger project I was working on, I needed to create a wrapper for the Runescape API in ruby. This allowed easier access to the data feeds I needed to track the changes in items on the Grand Exchange. That larger project has been temporarily suspended due to a lack of time available to devote to it. Perhaps someday I'll pick it back up again!
